Lunch with Michelle Wolfson and Anica Rissi!!!!!

Filed under: Touching the Surface, Wolfson Literary

Best lunch ever!

I’ve got to tell you the truth–I had to pinch myself a little every now and then.  *squee*

Some random thoughts…

*Michelle looks much taller if Anica and I are sitting down

*It’s perfectly acceptable to toilet tweet your hubby and tell him how amazing Michelle Wolfson and Anica Rissi are in person.

*We all love guacamole and chocolate-yummy!

*I never get tired of talking with people who love to read.

*There’s so much stuff about the world of agenting and publishing that is brand new and exciting–what to expect when your expecting a book!

*They completely motivate me to kick butt on this round of edits!

*Michelle and Anica brought me more books to adopt…

  1. wow – I think I might be equal parts thrilled for you and jealous! 🙂 Sounds amazing… you're living the dream, girl!

  2. How awesome Kim – your first editor & agent lunch! Michelle & Anica look like wonderful mentors for you & your book. And midwives too – love your line "what to expect when you're expecting a book"!

And this chocoholic thinks it's great that they love chocolate as much as you! 🙂

Throughout all of these heady & amazing points of your journey, you still remain the same wonderful, grounded & "real" person that I've known you to be – of course you would "squee" & toilet-tweet your husband! 🙂

That's just one of the reasons that you deserve every success you've had & are yet to have on your route to publication.

Thanks for taking us along on your trip & for sharing all of your firsts with us! ♥

  3. Jessie-it's just a matter of time. You are amazing and I know that you're going to find your perfect fit. (((((hugs)))))

  4. Linda-no matter what happens on this journey as a writer…I still say that the friends I've made are the very best part. (((((hugs))))) Love you girlfriend!

  6. How cool!

I finally get to meet Michelle in person myself in a few weeks.* Can't wait!

*I'll be sure to sit down. 😉

  7. Hahahaha! You guys are going to love her even more…if that's possible. *grin* It's like twitter in HD. Meeting you guys has now been put on my bucket list! (((((hugs)))))

  8. Ohhhh…. WOW! Cryer's Cross! I've always wanted to have one! They're so sweet to give you books! It's so nice! Hope you enjoy reading them Ms. Kim! :]
