That conference sounds great! I’m responding to your question of which author I’d like to spend time with. Answer: Terry Pratchett. I just finished his YA book NATION. What a wonderful story teller! He leaves me thinking about his stories for days.
I haven’t ready Terry, but I’m going to keep that recommendation in mind. Thanks for sharing.
LOL I was all fangirl at our New England conference this weekend, too! It was totally awesome meeting Sara Zarr and the other authors at ours. I guess the one author I still really want to meet is Philip Pullman, but we are so lucky in the SCBWI to get to meet so many all the time!
