***THIS CONTEST IS NOW CLOSED!!!!***
At BEA I was lucky enough to grab an ARC of WHAT’S LEFT OF ME by my fellow Apocalypsie, Kat Zhang. And now you’re lucky because I’m giving you a chance to win my ARC. Before I tell you how, let me give you a little preview of WHAT’S LEFT OF ME (#1 in The Hybrid Chronicles.)
Eva and Addie started out the same way as everyone else—two souls woven together in one body, taking turns controlling their movements as they learned how to walk, how to sing, how to dance. But as they grew, so did the worried whispers. Why aren’t they settling? Why isn’t one of them fading? The doctors ran tests, the neighbors shied away, and their parents begged for more time. Finally Addie was pronounced healthy and Eva was declared gone. Except, she wasn’t…
For the past three years, Eva has clung to the remnants of her life. Only Addie knows she’s still there, trapped inside their body. Then one day, they discover there may be a way for Eva to move again. The risks are unimaginable–hybrids are considered a threat to society, so if they are caught, Addie and Eva will be locked away with the others. And yet…for a chance to smile, to twirl, to speak, Eva will do anything.
In order to win, you need to tell me what you think the biggest problem would be with have two distinct, but closely connected souls, in one body. I’m thinking it would be pretty traumatic if my other self had a different taste in books LOL! Leave your problem in the comments below with your contact information. You can’t win if I can’t contact you. This contest is open internationally and it will be running all weekend.
Wow. I really love the concept of this book… and the cover! Just beautiful! I definitely think the problem with having another soul inside of me would be taste in food. What if one is a vegetarian and the other is not? If my other soul loved sauerkraut, we’d be done for.
ROTFL!!!! That’s a great one! BTW–I love sauerkraut. :o)
Oh, sounds like a great read! Personally, I’d worry about the other soul’s taste in men. And that I’d pop to the fore at a *cough* inopportune time. 😉
Yup…that would be awkward LOL!
I think the hardest thing would be relationships, right? Romantic relationships in particular would be problematic. Do you compromise & date people you both like? Or do you take turns? Lol, this is sounding dirty now, so I’ll stop.
Thanks for the chance to win!
ROTFL!!!! Don’t forget to leave your contact info too!
Oops, sorry. My email is daniellesaunders1984(at)hotmail(dot)com.
Yay!!! Glad I could catch you. :o)
Oh I really want this!I didn’t have much luck in your Level 2 giveaway so I hope that I have better luck this time! The hardest part would probably be making decisions.Just think,One soul wants to go right, and the other wants to go left.BAM!Ugggh!!!That would not be a pretty sight. The two souled body would probably look like a mental patient or *shudders* even worse!

Ugh!!! I can’t even make up my own mind half the time…I must agree LOL! Got my fingers crossed for you. <3

Happy to be of service!!!!!
I would say different taste in music since music is a big part of my life. Or say that the persons are speaking different languages. That would be awkward.
I have to agree–music can be a delicate subject and everyone has different tastes!
yeah, I think that if the two souls have different tastes in guys would so suck!
Without a doubt!
I think it would be a problem if the two souls had completely different personalities. How would they ever agree on anything? There would probably be a lot of internal fighting 😛

Ugh…and they would be on each other’s nerves the whole time!
The saying “familiarity breeds contempt” comes to mind because truth be told, the people we fight with the most are the people we are closest too. It’s not as if I’m going to break into an epic fight with a complete stranger or a semi-close friend, but little brother who sings off-key when I’m trying to finish an assignment & doesn’t stop even when you’ve asked him too a million times? Well, he’s fair game. The thing is, and I’m sure this is the same for everybody else, I only get into fights with people I’m close too. And if you had to share a body with another soul? How much closer can you get? Needless to say, I bet A LOT of fighting will be going on between those two souls….

YES!!!!! I say that all the time!!!
the biggest problem would be if one loves chocolate and the other dislikes it. that would suck.
