What’s Really Happening Beneath the Hunger Games

What’s really happening beneath the Hunger Games? Lots of ripples–the kind of thoughtful, amazing stuff that makes me love these books and movies even more than I already do.

I found this blog fascinating.

Also can’t talk about the Hunger Games without giving a shout out to Jennifer Lawrence. I’m such a fan girl.

  1. Love the Vlog brothers! They’re both so intelligent.

Hank makes some good points here. My older son finally read The Hunger Games and said he thought it was unrealistic because in a society where they can create advanced computerized muttations, no one should go hungry. But he missed the point that Hank touches on here; the people of the Capitol are all wealthy and well-fed. And the government is purposely keeping the people in the outer districts hungry to oppress them. I think these books (and movies) are fantastic.

    And yay, Jennifer Lawrence!

  2. Hey There. I found your blog using msn. This is a really well written article.
I’ll be sure to bookmark it and return to read more of your
useful info. Thanks for the post. I will definitely comeback.

  3. I think both the Green brothers are brilliant. I had come across this video earlier, but this is the first chance I got to watch it. Good points throughout. Re: JLaw – she’s just made of awesome.
