There are Different Kinds of Floods

Yesterday was amazing–it was the book launch of my debut novel. No brainer. And even though I was sure my power was going to go out during Hurricane Sandy (because it always goes out) it didn’t and I spent the day flooded by good wishes and wonderful compliments about TOUCHING THE SURFACE. I am grateful. But today is a new day and it’s time to focus on the more important flooding that went on here on the east coast. There are lots of people in dire need of our help. So lets do this people.
