Don’t Make Me Count to 1, 2, 3–The Parent Rap

One more day with the 11 year old home and then I’m back to my regularly scheduled program. I had a great vacation and I’m NOT looking forward to getting up at 5:30 again. *head thunk* But it’s just part of the awesomeness of being a mom. Not familiar with what I’m talking about? Here you go…

It’s gonna be a long week. Let’s start it off right. LOL!

What part of the Parent Rap cracks you up? For some reason I always love the part about tying shoes in little knots LOL! Don’t have kids–look at all you have to look forward to. *snicker* Happy Monday!

  1. Hahahahah. I saw this at my MOM bible study a few weeks ago. Cracked me up. I have to say the “posse” part resonates for me, although, I’ve said and done ALL those things in my 16 years as a parent, lol. But with four kids, people seem to automatically do this palpable shift whenenever our clan walks into a restaurant… or wherever, really. Our kids are usually pretty well behaved and good company, but it’s just really hard to be subtle with such a big group. Dad and I are intorverted and a little shy by nature. We used to blend in… Not anymore!!!!!!!! 😉 Also, only one kid is actually shy, so when we are en posse, people tend to know we’re here. 🙂 My boyLovey is one of four children. His younger brother was 11, when we got married and he used to hang out with me during the day in the summer when I was on break. We watched some Spell-A- Vision (Aaron Spelling produced) show, that I can’t remember the title of. It was about some sort of high powered rich family or other, and one of the lines that kept running in all the promos about it went, “They look like the Earps walking into the OK Corral.” My bro-IL and I adopted it for our family. We still say it sometimes when the whole clan goes out together.

Happy New Year, Kimmie Poppins! Looking forward to all the amazingness you have to offer us in the comming year. 🙂

    • You’ve got one more than me so I can only imagine. I think I’ve hit most of the stuff too LOL! Happy New Year to you too. <3
